LTTE guns down and hangs fleeing civilians

LTTE has in danger civilians in the areas stationary held by it with death as traitors if any effort made to flee. To prove they are serious of this danger they have displayed bodies of 3 civilians near the Ponnambalam hospital. The bodies were hanged on posts that had banners stating "Fate of traitors', according to civilians, who have managed to flee and are now in IDP welfare centers at Vavuniya and Welioya
These civilians were killed by LTTE death squads, and dragged in public a comprehensive way before being mutilated and displayed, the sources said. Meanwhile, the increasing campaigning against LTTE despotism has resulted in a few confrontations between civilians and LTTE operatives.
This exposure of the level of atrocities perpetrated by the LTTE, send-off in surplus of hundreds irresistible under its domination in the non-liberated areas at the Kilinochchi and Mullaitivu districts, was total by civilians who beam to our Wanni reporter on a visit made to IDP wellbeing centers at Vavuniya and Welioya.
Human pain in the non-liberated areas is increasing at an supreme scale with LTTE terrorists narrowing its grip in excess of the stranded civilians, state self-governing in order from the wellbeing centres in Vavuniya and Welioya. .
Despite these threats hundreds of civilians from Mullaittiuvu, Puthukkudiyiruppu and Visvamadu areas have fled and necessary protection with security forces throughout the past few days.
A group of 35 civilians from Ananda-Puliyankulam area, were bounded and cruelly beaten by an LTTE-led mob near the Sambankulama connection last December, a civilian said. The terrorists had assaulted the people including women and the old, killing two people and tired away the rest whose destiny is yet to be known, our sources said citing the civilians.
It will be recalled that when the LTTTE was beginning its terrorist activities in the 1980s, it used alike public killings and lamp-post hangings of those who were opposite to it in the Jaffna peninsula. Some analysts say the terrorist group is now going rear to such practices as civilian opposition to it rises.
The LTTE is a cruel terrorist outfit that has been full of action in a bloody terrorist collection against the citizens of Sri Lanka since 1983. Lead by a psychopathic chief, the outfit has been annoying to establish an ethnically pure Tamil condition on the Sri Lankan soil. The LTTE is also the first terrorist outfit to use suicide bombers, and to get bigger naval and mid-air fighting ability. The company is listed in the UN list of shame for using child military and banned in many countries in the world.
