Troops uncovers heavy vehicles, UNICEF cab and 5 LTTE bodies

58 Division troops, minutes after they rolled on to Visamadu township Wednesday (28) afternoon were worried to come across a wide variety of LTTE's serious and light vehicles, counting a UNICEF owned Toyota double cab.
Troops now dominating their positions in Visuamadu town perimeters also healthier corpses of five dead Tigers, four T-56 weapons, four I-com sets, explosives and more than a few more LTTE items left behind by Tigers running for life.
The variety of heavy vehicles contained one bulldozer, one backhoe, one tipper, one canter lorry, twelve land master tractors and the Toyota double cab belonging to UNICEF.
Similarly, two hours after troops' entry into the town, a group of nine civilians hurried to the troops and pleaded for security in the hands of them. Troops afterwards directed them to pertinent establishment for onward events.
