Navy recovers 2 LTTE bodies off Mullaittivu

2 bodies of LTTE terrorists killed throughout the sea argument with Navy, yesterday, were healthier while balanced in the seas off Mullaittivu, Tuesday (Jan 20).
According to Naval media sources, an instant search operation was launched following the violent gun battle that erupted at around 11.30p.m., on Monday. 4 LTTE attack skill were shattered by the naval skill on patrol, forcing terrorists to move away with serious damages, the sources said. A fast attack skill sustained compensation when an LTTE suicide boat exploded during the strong naval firing assault, the sources additional said.
Sri Lanka Navy maintains four (04) defence barriers off the coast of Mullaithivu consisting of more than twenty-five (25) Fast Attack Craft (FACs), Offshore Patrol Vessels (OPVs), Gun Boats, the fast Action Boat regiment (RABS) and the Special Boat Squadron (SBS) to cut off the escape of LTTE cadres by sea and to prevent the receipt of warlike resources on the North-eastern coast, Navy Spokesperson head D.K.P Dassanayake said.
