Media Minister Lakshman Yapa Abeywardane yesterday said Kilinochchi will be urbanized on par with other districts soon following land mines from the region are detached.
Addressing the media at his Ministry hall Minister Abeywardane said that while charming the LTTE militarily the Government was committed to look after the wants of those who suffered countless hardships due to terrorism.
The Minister Abeywardane also said that a particular conversation was detained at the President Secretariat chaired by UPFA parliamentarian and older Presidential consultant Basil Rajapaksa in link with the Development of North and the wellbeing measures to be approved on behalf of those to be resettled.
Indian High official Alok Prasad, TULF Leader Ananda Sangaree and the pertinent District Secretaries were also there at the gathering.
