SLAF damages LTTE Battle Tank - Vishvamadhu

Sri Lanka Air Force MIG-27 jets launched an assault targeting LTTE battle tank experiential 2Km north of Vishvamadukulam yesterday, 24 January.
Air Force spokesperson, Wing Commander Janaka Nanayakkara, speaking to defence.lk said that the air sorties were launched around 9.45 PM and the under assault LTTE battle tank was disabled.
Meanwhile, SLAF MI-24 helicopters raided the LTTE positions in general area Vishvamadukulam 12.30 PM today, 25 January, as troops of 58 Division on a task to jail the damaged LTTE tank which had been absent away by the terrorists elegant the mid-air aggression.
