Troops Liberate Murasumoddai; more escape routes opened for civilians under terror clutches

Soldiers of Sri Lanka Army 58 Division have liberated Murasumoddai, a key rural group of people located on the A-36 road (Paranthan- Mullaittivu), this afternoon (Jan 8). According to the military sources, the soldiers have inflicted grave reward to the LTTE terrorists throughout the disagreeable lunched to release the area.
Murasumoddai, situated 5.5 Km East of Paranthan is careful to be a city that opens up figure of access roads to key LTTE hiding areas in Wanni where thousands of civilians held in jail by the terrorists. Defence observers are in the sight that let go of this town would help the civilians fleeing from LTTE control to seek safe haven with the soldiers .
