Troops of 59 Division in service in south of Mullaittivu had several confrontations with groups of LTTE terrorists detected through out yesterday, 12 January.
In confrontations reported in east of Puthukudiirippu and Mulliyaveli areas in Mullaittivu, LTTE terrorists received considerable damages, armed report conventional from the battlefront said.
Troops establish a body of LTTE terrorist killed throughout the quarrel the distance end to end of with a Light Machine Gun (LMG) and two T-56 weapons left away by the fleeing terrorists.
