The Ministry of Defence community Security, Law and arrange has decided to donate houses for 100 war heroes of carrying arms forces to mark the 3rd Anniversary of His Excellency Mahinda Rajapaksa, as the President and the leader in Chief of the transport weapons Forces in Sri Lanka.
Acting on an idea of Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa, the Ministry will made this donation to the selected war heroes who had displayed the highest standards of gallantry at the battlefield.
The Media Centre for National Security in a shove let go said the houses would be donated from those built under the "Api Wenuwen Api" (We for our Own ) housing system in the Ipalogama town , Anuradhapura.
