Tension looms in LTTE inner-circles as jets raid key LTTE hideout - Mullaittivu

SLAF combatant jets made accuracy air strikes at a well recognized LTTE beating place situated in the jungle South of Puthukudiyirippu, Mullaittivu, today (Jan 12) at around 6p.m.
According to Air Force representative, Wing Commander Janaka Nanayakkara, the air raids were conducted targeting a key LTTE hiding place supposed frequented by the LTTE leader. With earth troops closing-in on the last LTTE bastions at Puthukkudiyirippu and Mullaittivu, LTTE terror chief Prabakaran is organization short of safe houses and flee routes, defence sources supposed.
The sources referring to the newest SLAF air strikes said that, the aim was situated in a thick awning area at Venavil, one of the residual hideouts of Prabakaran, who is reserved in toes due to the multi-pronged air and earth assaults. LTTE communication is experiencing a standdown since the time of assault the sources said addition that, this is alike to the response shown by the outfit, when Tamilchelvan was killed.
