Sri Lanka Army last twilight (Dec 1) intercepted an LTTE group detected in the Bogoda area, in Thanthirimale, defence sources said.
According the sources, troops acting on cleverness reports launched a look for operation in the distant village bordering the Willpattu forest reserve. During the search, troops detected the LTTE group and launched a shock attack around 7.30 PM.
Following the argue, troops found a corpse of a slain LTTE cadre, the distance end to end of with a T-56 riffle, 4 magazines and a belt order. Search operations are being continued, the sources additional.
