Air Force strafes terrorists in Kilinochchi

Sri Lanka Air Force has launched a sequence of air strikes at LTTE strongholds in the Kilinochchi town and its outer edge in hold up of the Army 57 Division and the Task Force 1 that have laid blockade to the LTTE managerial center.
Air Force representative Wing Commander Janaka Nanayakkara told defence.lk that the combatant jets have so far approved out 4 raids since 11.30 last night targeting LTTE strongholds in the West and the North of Kilinochchi town, and the Iranamadu areas.
He extra said that the MI-24 helicopters are at present good-looking LTTE argument points and reinforcements in the Kilinochchi battleground.
