Troops of the Task Force 1 battling residual LTTE confrontation in the areas at Adampan and Nevil has allegedly taken 4 successful opponent targets yesterday (Dec 12).
According to Wanni security sources, 3 terrorists were killed sniped in universal area Adampan, while one more met with similar fate in general area Nevil.
Meanwhile, troops have busy intense armour assaults at recognized LTTE positions in general area Nevil as military claimed half-a -dozen LTTE wounded citing intercepted enemy communication. 3 terrorists have also sustained serious injuries in the Army assault, sources said.
Security forces are ongoing forward dominations in the area, military sources added.
