59 troops cutoff vital road stretch: Skirmishes in southern fringes of Mullaittivu

The advancing 59 Division troops who are now making effective inroads towards the LTTE's eastern coastal barracks township have allegedly taken manage over a 3km vital road make bigger along the Oddusudan-Mullaittivu (A-34) road following physically powerful battles with LTTE terrorists yesterday (Dec 15).
The road make bigger situated southwest of Mulliyaweli village is now beneath military domination, as ground troops said that the barrier would deny LTTE the use of the vital provide route between its eastern coastal rural community.
According to battleground reports, the 59 Division troops led by Brigadier Nandana Udawatte is fiercely attractive LTTE confrontation as fresh hostility has shift towards the southern outer edge of Mullaittivu. Defence observers, are also of the view that troops would make its presence felt at Mulliyaweli village sooner, which LTTE continues to purpose as a main terror strength.
