Hiwin Nimhan Chandrasekara, a 7-year son, of Lyceum International School complete a gift worth Rs.20, 000 for war heroes to celebrate his 7th birthday in much unlike way. The gift was handed over by Nimhan to the Defence Secretary Mr.Gotabaya Rajapaksa on Wednesday (Dec 03) at Defence Ministry premises.
Father of Hiwin Nimhan Chandrasekara, Mr Priyantha Chandrasekara, writing a letter to the Defence Secretary said his son spoken his feeling that he doesn't want to have a social gathering for his birthday this year, in its place he wants to create a gift for the war heroes who are tirelessly doing their most excellent for defending the motherland.
Nimhan's Father Mr.Priyantha Chandrasekara, Mother Mrs. Gayani Fernando were also there at the time.
