Special Task Force (STF) troops intercepted a group of LTTE terrorists while conducting a look for process in general area Unnachchiya in Aiythyamale on Thursday morning, (4 Dec).
According to the Defence sources, STF exposed a body of a LTTE cadre killed throughout the subsequent search process and one police officer distress and later he died.
After a search operation, STF have establish 01 X Land Mine (11 Kg) and 03 X Johnny Mines in general area Kanchikudichchiaru,Ampara at 1445 hours. .
