Twenty-three Tamil civilians who had been clever to flee the LTTE's ir on hold have at home government proscribed area sought defense with security forces this dawn, defence sources said.
According to the available sources the group of escapees comprising 10 males 12 females and a child at home at Palampasi in northeast of Nadunkerni around 8.00 AM.
The escapees have been directed to the inhabitant wellbeing centres after being provided with foodstuff and basic checkup facilities.
