Alleged LTTE gunmen riding a motor bike shot at a Tamil three-wheel driver at Nayanmarkattu, Ariyalai in Jaffna today(July 6) at around 12.30p.m.
The civilian was killed instantly in the shooting witnesses were cited as saying.
Search operations are underway as the assailants have immediately fled the scene, Jaffna Police sources said speaking to our Jaffna correspondent.
