Hours after fall of "Michael Base", Commander flies to Wanni

Giving further boost to morale of the troops in Wanni, Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Sarath Fonseka flew to Wanni Security Forces Headquarters Saturday (5) morning just hours after the LTTE's " Michael Base" in Welioya fell to the Army, marking one more victorious phase in the fight against terrorism.
