Defence Ministry Seva Vanitha donates computers for disabled- soldiers rehabilitation programs

The Seva Vanitha Unit of the Ministry of Defence , Public Security , Law and Order today (June 10) donated stock of computers for the use of rehabilitation programs of disabled soldiers. Chairperson of the Defence Seva Vanith , Mrs. Ioma Rajapaksa made the donation to Ranaviru Sevana at Ragama and to the Special Forces (SF) Soldiers rehabilitation centre , SF regimental headquarters Seeduwa.

According to the Defence Seva Vanitha officials the computers were collected from the Sri Lankan philanthropists in the United States who wanted to improve the welfare facilities of the disabled soldiers. The computers will be used to teach alternative professional skills to the soldiers who had given their limbs for the greater good the motherland, they further said.
