Special Task Force (STF) personnel conducted a search operation in general area 55th Kilometer post in Ampara uncovered military items along with claymore mine, T-56 weapon and ammunition last morning, 14 August, MCNS said.
The recovery was made around 9.45 AM on information received to the Police and following list of items among the recoveries, MCNS added.

Meanwhile, STF personnel have found 2 anti-personnel mines, I-Com set and its antenna while conducting a search operation in Sangamankanda area in Ampara last Tuesday, 12 August.
