The special Police Investigation Team of North Central Province has uncovered a claymore mine weighing of 15Kg along with a circuit and a remote control device from Anuradhapura area last night, 16 August, MCNS said.
The recovery was made around 8.30 PM yesterday and the claymore mine with other items had been hidden inside a jungle patch near the sluice of the Kuda Bulankulama tank in Anuradhapura, MCNS sources added.
