Sri Lanka Air Force combatant jets shattered an LTTE attack boat concealed in the Chundikulam lagoon this morning (Jan 11).
Air Force spokesperson Wing Commander Janaka Nanayakkara said that the jets accepted out the air strikes targeting the boat and the moving back terrorists from the Jaffna peninsula. He long-established that the boat was shattered and the terrorists suffered heavy damages in the air raid.
He said that one more air hit was approved out at 1 PM targeting the moving rear terrorists in the same area.
The Jaffna Peninsula connects with the mainland at Chundikulam. The terrorists now losing the battle in the Jaffna peninsula are touching back a cross the Chundikulam safe haven towards Puthukkudiyiruppu.
