SLAF fighter jets launched precision air strikes at an identified LTTE confrontation place situated 1km east of the Visuamadukulam Tank, Wednesday (Jan 28) at around 4.30p.m.
According to Air Force Spokesperson Wing Commander Janaka Nanayakkara, the air hit was conducted in help of the advancing 57 Division troops.
