Two LTTE ocean tiger leaders were killed in an air attack launched by the SLAF MI-24 helicopter gun ships targeting LTTE boat group this morning, 19 December.
Air Force sources confirmed citing Electronic fighting sources, two woman LTTE sea tiger leaders, Suhandini and Siran, were killed in the air attack launched approximately 11.45 am targeting LTTE boats in Kilaly lagoon region.
One LTTE boat was totally shattered while more than a few others continued compensation owing to the attack, Air Force representative, Wing Commander Janaka Nanayakkara said.
