Troops of operating under Army 56 division in the Vavuniya battlefront reported to have killed 2 LTTE female cadres this afternoon (July 4). According to the sources, troops have attacked an LTTE bunker detected in the Maruthamadhu area around 1.05 pm and the two female cadres have been manning the bunker at the time of the attack.
A clearing operation is in progress.
